Started by a mom who needed a safe birthday cake.

Karen Fleischer, a Doctor of Natural Medicine with a specialty in nutrition, built Easy Sweets after her daughter Emily was diagnosed with severe, life-threatening food allergies. Family celebrations had always revolved around the table, and she was not about to let allergies change that.

Today her team bakes everything from lunch-bag cookies to wedding cakes in a facility that has never seen a peanut, tree nut, sesame seed or dairy product, with a second kitchen dedicated to gluten-free baking.
